Jada brings over five years of experience connecting residents to the civic processes that shape their built and natural environments. She holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies with a focus on City and Regional Planning from Temple University. Her public sector work includes leading outreach in Southeast Pennsylvania for the Department of Environmental Protection’s Office of Environmental Justice and coordinating public participation for projects in overburdened communities. At U.S. EPA Region III, she managed federal grants supporting environmental education and community resilience, helping underserved communities access resources to address longstanding environmental health issues. In the nonprofit sector, Jada served as a project coordinator at a Philadelphia-based community organization, facilitating programs in environmental justice education, community health, and workforce development.

When she’s not working, Jada can usually be found sitting down painting or on her feet running on one of the city’s trails with her husband, Charlie.
