Lower Brandywine River Flooding Study and Mitigation Strategy

Connect the Dots partnered with the City of Wilmington, Delaware Department of Public Works and Arcadis to design and lead a trauma-informed community engagement process for the Lower Brandywine River Flooding Study. Through accessible education, interactive engagement, and collaboration with trusted community partners, we helped residents understand flood risks, explore mitigation options, and shape future investment priorities. Community feedback informed early flood mitigation concepts while building trust and positioning the City to pursue future implementation funding.
